Sugar-free vanilla syrup is a healthy, easy-to-make syrup that is perfect for coffee. A lot of people are weary of sugar-free syrups. But even though traditional vanilla syrup is delicious it is loaded with a ton of sugar. One serving of sugar-free vanilla has 20 grams of sugar.

In contrast, sugar-free vanilla syrup has 0 grams of sugar. Therefore, it is a healthier alternative to traditional vanilla syrup. Plus, it is infused with a real vanilla bean, which gives it so much flavor.

Do not add vanilla extract to your coffee in place of vanilla syrup. Vanilla syrup has a thicker consistency and a sweeter flavor than vanilla extract. In contrast, vanilla extract has a thinner consistency and a bitter flavor. So do not add it to your coffee unless you want to ruin it.

Vanilla beans are expensive, so you can use vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste if you do not have them.

If you are using vanilla extract, use pure vanilla extract. It has a better, stronger flavor.

Additionally, heat the sugar-free sweetener and water first. Once the sugar-free sweetener dissolves and the syrup is warm, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and stir to combine.

If you are using vanilla bean paste, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla bean paste after the sugar-free sweetener is dissolved and the sugar-free vanilla syrup is warm.

Vanilla syrup should not be so thick that it’s hard to pour out of the bottle. It should easily flow out of the jar.

If your syrup is extremely thick and has a sticky texture, you may have cooked it at a temperature that was too high or cooked it for too long. You can thin the syrup out by placing it over low heat and stirring in water 1/2 tablespoon at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.

Can I Use Vanilla Extract Instead Of Vanilla Syrup In Coffee
